SIM for Cric’s Spoon Feed:

A high-fidelity simulation training program was very effective in training anesthesiologists to place invasive subglottic airways; skill retention was outstanding as well.

Impalpable Necks Spoon Feed:

Scalpel-finger-cannula was faster and had higher first-attempt success rate than scalpel-finger-bougie for front-of-neck access (FONA) in simulated obese, bleeding manikin simulations.

Outpatient COVID Spoon Feed:

There are a variety of therapeutic agents available for use in outpatients with COVID-19. Each has advantages and disadvantages that can help you decide which medication is best for your patient.

Narrower Gender Gap Spoon Feed:

A Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) task force interviewed academic EM leaders to determine areas for improvement in equitable faculty advancement and compensation, and to create systems-based recommendations in each area.

Traumatic Arthrotomy Spoon Feed:

This literature review helps emergency physicians systematically approach evaluation of traumatic arthrotomy (TA) while pointing out diagnostic pitfalls.

The voice behind the mic! I'm an emergency medicine resident with a real nerdy love for podcasts and evidence based medicine. Joined the JournalFeed team way back in the before times (pre-COVID).

Hi! I've been practicing emergency medicine for over 20 years and started JournalFeed. I'm the Chief Spoon-Feeder, which means I either write or edit everything that's posted on the JournalFeed blog. But Nick totally runs the show with the podcast!
