New Hepatitis Spoon Feed:

A new, rare form of acute hepatitis has been seen in children, mostly under age 5 years, that presents with vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, followed by acute hepatitis with jaundice.  If you see a child with a "stomach virus" who has jaundice - check labs!

HyperCa in Cancer Spoon Feed

Cancer-associated hypercalcemia requires prompt recognition and treatment in the ED, starting with aggressive rehydration +/- loop diuretics as well as coordination of initiation of bone resorption inhibition, which can take up to 48 or longer hours to have a full effect.

Corporate EMerica Spoon Feed:

Hi! I've been practicing emergency medicine for over 20 years and started JournalFeed. I'm the Chief Spoon-Feeder, which means I either write or edit everything that's posted on the JournalFeed blog. But Nick totally runs the show with the podcast!
