There was no statistical difference in 1, 3, or 6 month facial recovery with prednisolone vs placebo for children with Bell's palsy in this underpowered RCT. However, with a possible signal of long term benefit, I will keep prescribing steroids in these patients.


WATEFALL RCT Spoon Feed

Conservative fluid administration in patients with acute pancreatitis can achieve similar clinical outcomes compared with aggressive resuscitation, with less risk of volume overload.
