Tuesday Spoon Feed:

Opioids, other than codeine, were found to be more effective when compared to non-opioids for treatment of acute musculoskeletal pain after ED discharge. However, they were also associated with a higher rate of adverse outcomes.


Friday Spoon Feed:

Don’t hang your hat on lactate clearance to assess therapeutic response to resuscitation in sepsis; there are too many confounders, and initial clearance does not necessarily project clinical course.
