A starting dose of 12mg of adenosine for stable supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) resulted in higher initial successful cardioversion rates and persistence of sinus rhythm thereafter without increased adverse effects.

Thursday’s Spoon Feed:

No significant survival benefit was identified in 5-year follow-up of patients randomized to immediate vs. delayed coronary angiography after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) survival without ST segment elevation.
